In June of 2021, after an intense amount of personal work and healing, I made a monumental decision to leave my traditional busy life in Franklin, TN, and move with my husband and kids to Central America, eventually landing in a small community in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. Living in a tropical environment and raising my kids on fresh fruit and sunshine had been a dream of mine for YEARS, but I was stuck in a mindset that it wasn’t possible. I didn’t even consider it a real option. It came to fruition because I learned to stop thinking in a linear way and began to use curiosity to unlock my mind and my potential. I was able to step out of the box, break free of societal expectations, and manifest the life I truly wanted. Ultimately, I was able to find my inner voice and actually LISTEN.
